Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

In recent years, electronics and communication field has made unprecedented growth in terms of new technologies, ideas, and principles throughout the world. The rate of obsolescence of technologies also has been extremely high. Researchers, academicians, industries, and society must work in unison to meet the challenges of this rapidly growing discipline.

Since its inception in 1987, the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been consistently working toward this goal. The department provides industry-oriented practical training and is producing diploma engineers of excellent caliber.

The department offers a three-year full-time Diploma Programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. It aims to impart high-quality technical education and train students to meet ever-changing industry expectations.

The department’s goal is to kindle creativity and independent thinking, making students competent, disciplined, and quality engineers to serve society. Besides fulfilling the syllabus requirements by the Directorate of Technical Education, students are well-practiced through tests and assignments to perform in board examinations at the end of each semester.

The department has well-qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members and well-equipped labs. Students are encouraged toward creative thinking through innovative teaching techniques. Many alumni are now part of reputed industries and institutions throughout the country.
